Last week, during the successful AQHA/APHA/NSBA ELEMENTA Goes West show held at the ELEMENTA Ranch located in Rome, Italy, past NRHA Futurity and Derby Non Pro Champion Tribbiani crossed the big pond to join the elite string of horses owned by one of the top reining horse owners in the world, Maria Cecilia Fiorucci.
Exactly two years ago, at the 6666 Ranch NRHA Derby presented by Markel, young Jack Medows rode a beautiful dark palomino stallion with a big-time name to the Level 4 Non Pro Championship: Tribbiani. Named after actor Matt LeBlanc’s character in the hit series “Friends,” Tribbiani is by NRHA Eleven Million Dollar Sire Gunnatrashya and out of Chicsdreamofdiamonds, a daughter of Eleven Million Dollar Sire Magnum Chic Dream that Medows rode to the 2016 NRHA Futurity Level 4 Non Pro Championship. If his mother’s accomplishments weren’t enough — with $124,433 collected during her show career – Tribianni’s pedigree gets another boost from his maternal granddam, NRHA One Million Dollar Dam Princess In Diamonds.
A little over a week before the 2024 National Reining Breeders Classic, Cooper Smith purchased the talented stallion from the Medows family and handed the reins to NRHA Two Million Dollar Rider Cade McCutcheon with only three days to prepare for their debut together. The duo marked a 224 both in the prelims and in the Level 4 Finals, the seventh highest score of the evening. “This horse is stellar-minded and is more fun to ride in the show pen than he is at home,” said McCutcheon. “He reminds me a lot of Custom Made Gun who I rode to the The Run For A Million co-championship in 2019 for Maria Cecilia. The plan is for me to show Tribbiani at the upcoming 100X show in France and to carry on showing him in Europe. I look forward to being part of the ELEMENTA team and repeating our past success together.”

Thrilled to have McCutcheon on the team and to have the duo show under ELEMENTA colors, Fiorucci was at the ranch to welcome Tribbiani. “He was so calm, cool, and collected when he got off the truck,” she said. “You can tell he is very level-minded and attentive to all that happens around him; we are in love with him and, as all the horses that come to our ranch, this is his forever home.”
